He leaves behind 1sister, Cleo, his daughters, Judy and Coleen, two grand sons, Brian (Lori) and Barry (Maureen) 6 great grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Brandon, Grace, Rebecca and Abigail. He was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Bill, Tom and Herman. Jim was married to Yvonne for 27 years and after her death to Blanche for 27 years.
Jim served in the US Army during WWII. One of his greatest adventures was taking the Honor Flight in 2010. He had a masters degree in math and physics and taught for many years. Jim loved taking care of his family, teaching, serving his community, and his Lord. The family wishes to thank his friends in Toluca who watched over him and Dr. Kindred who kept him vital and aware, the Bickford House staff and Advocate hospice for all their loving care and support.
Judy and family, I have highest regards for your father, both as my teacher (1958-1961) and then as a friend when I moved back to Toluca in 2008. He and my dad shared many years together at Rotary. My own dad died in 2011, and I still miss him so much. Blessings to you all.

I’m so sad to hear of Mr. Madole’s (even at 50+, he’ll never be “Jim” to me
) passing. My husband and I were just talking about him recently and I did not realize he was still alive and in Bloomington. I wish now I’d been able to tell him…Mr. Madole’s was my high school math teacher, I was his only student in my senior year for “Math IV” (basically pre-Calculus) and we held class in the library at one of the tables – one of my fond memories from high school! I’m so sorry for your loss and glad he was able to remain vital and aware, and that he was able to take an Honor Flight. May the peace of God that passes all understanding be with your family as you say farewell to your brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
